Asia-Euro Plate Desserts is the result of the culinary skills and creative inspiration of two young French pastry chefs, Fran& ccedil;ois Tatté and Lionel Raiffort. These two talented chefs have pursued careers that have crossed and coincided and taken them from Brussels to Bangkok, Paris to Phuket, Montpellier to Marseille. On the cruise ship Mermoz they were exposed to the cultures of a host of diverse countries. This book reflects such variety in more than 150 unique presentations, many of them indicative of the cuisines of particular countries.

The spectacular desserts and ice carvings in this book cannot be described in words, but the beautiful full-color photographs of each presentation certainly do them justice. The text is precise, covering ingredients, method and advice for each recipe. The appendix includes all the basic recipes used in the book.
