Principles
edited by R. J. Hance
Weed Control Handbook provides basic information about weeds and herbicides and by setting out the principles of vegetation management and includes structural changes to introduce new chapters and most chapters have been completely rewritten.
Weed Control Handbook considers the subject of herbicides in plants in three separate chapters:
- dealing with entry and transport, mode of action and detoxification and resistance
- the principles of formulation and application of herbicides are treated separately from the methodology of field application
- and there is a completely new chapter on the ecological consequences of modern weed control systems.
